Research and Development Cell

The R n' D cell works to implement the innovative ideas from the idea pool, which are contributed by E cell members. This cell performs a research into challenges present around us in our lives to come up with promising solutions and to implement them.

Self Sufficient Firm

The 'Self Sufficient House', an initiative by we the students of Entrepreneurship cell MJCET, is an effort to apply our theoretical knowledge to its practical implementation and contribute our bit to the society.

In view of present days, availability of conventional resources such as coal, petroleum products, nuclear and other resources are dwindling at a rapid rate. We have the utmost responsibility to make the energy production continuous and make it available for future generations. In this context, the renewable energy resources play a vital role in maintaining the continuity as well as efficiency in energy production. Moreover, individual resources are not enough to meet the energy demands.

Self sustainable house is a trend in the architecture field to build houses that are water and energy efficient out of environmentally friendly materials. This project is a powerful instrument for analyzing existing energy resources and helps to choose renewable energy sources for a safe, clean and economic power generation, which is also cost effective for future usage. People have to realize the benefits and advantages of resources and try to shift from conventional sources. We should try to implement this type of techniques in developing countries like India on a large scale for economic growth and to become energy independent. It should be implemented at all places where there is abundant supply of renewable resources.

At the Research and development cell, guided by experienced faculty, the students are working as a team that has members from all the branches of engineering, and hence they get an opportunity to share their views and opinions which in turn gives them a chance to explore other areas of engineering.

Here E cell members work out corporate assignments or research projects assigned to them and even do their own research which will be supported by the investors.

    At Research and development cell, a team of 25 members is meticulously working on this project. E cell MJCET has Collaborated with Engineers without Borders (EWB) and there is participation of all the engineering departments giving this project all the required strength. As the students are required to look into each and every minute detail of the project, it helps them to improve their knowledge and gives them the experience that will add feather to their imagination and innovation.

We want the project to be done exclusively under E cell MJCET’s banner since we as a student body with be greatly benefited. We would like to evolve our brand doing such out of the box activities to take it to greater heights and at the same time bring laurels to college for supporting a promising student activity like the one we have planned.
