E-Week 2008 - Championship Runners Up!

Entrepreneurship Cell MJCET in its continuous endeavor to promote entrepreneurship in its environment held week long celebrations from February 2nd to the 9th. It dealt with all sections of students who are related to Entrepreneurship in some way or the other. E-Cell MJCET conducted a variety of events which catered to those who have identified Entrepreneurship as a valid career option, it also catered to those who knew something about Entrepreneurship but were unaware of what it meant to them, and it also catered to those who were being introduced to the concept of entrepreneurship.

The E-Week 2008 celebrations at MJCET were of an unusual magnitude and dimension. The pomp and grandeur with which E-week 2008 was carried out remains unmatched and unchallenged. The event drew attention from all spheres of the media and MJCET made headlines. The charisma of our celebrations echoed through the nation, a testimony to which is the National Championship Runners Up Trophy awarded to us by NEN (National Entrepreneurship Network).

MJCET was the Runners Up among 270 odd institutes across India.

Participation

The entrepreneurship celebration resonated its flavor across more than 270 Institutes of India and inspired more than 2 lakh students and alumni. Despite minimal preparation time, we were able to reach more than thousand guests. We had our events scheduled across elite colleges in the city like:

  • GNITS (G. Narayanamma Institute Of Technology And Science)
  • VJIT (Vidya Jyothi Institute Of Technology)
  • IIMC (Indian Institute Of Management & Commerce)
  • VNR(VNR Vignana Jyothi College Of Engineering And Technology)

The Events

The weeklong celebrations made a magnificent start on 2nd February, 2008 with the spell bounding E Conference and also included Social Entrepreneurship Workshop, Creative Activities, Business Quiz, Panel Discussion and was given a perfect epilogue for the light celebrations.
